LOVE this! It’s hydrating and it gives your face a bright and healthy glow. I’ve tried SO MANY primers in my day, and so far this is my fav. Also, it doesn’t dry out your skin (which causes my makeup to look flaky or powdery). And this bottle lasts a really long time!
My girlfriend Lacey told me about this gem. The easiest and most delicious appetizer (or even meal).
All you need is to combine one package of the following goodies from Trader Joe’s:
Crumbled Feta Cheese
Fresh Bruschetta Sauce
Now dip some pita chips and enjoy! Seriously mouth watering and my new go-to appetizer for parties. Some people on IG suggested adding some chicken and tossing it in a pita for a meal.
A few months back, after a loooong day in high heels, my friend Cassaundra (of the Blue Closet) let me borrow these shoes to give my feet a rest. So so comfortable! I knew I had to have a pair for myself–now I want every color and style. I got mine at Nordstrom, here. I would normally order a 5.5 or 6 in this style of a sandal but the 5 actually ended up fitting perfectly, so they run just a little bit big.
I stepped into Fossil the other day with no agenda–just to browse. And I stumbled on this beauty. It’s even more lovely on! It took every ounce of self control I had to not buy it on the spot. But you bet it made my wish-list! And $135 is a great price for a nice watch. Plus you can switch out the wrist bands.

I stepped into J.Crew the other day to make a return and I got sucked in. They were having one of those surprise sales where the entire store is 25% off and then another 20% off on top of that–the math confuses me, but I know thats a pretty great discount. So I treated myself to a few wardrobe staples. This Spring I have a goal of sprucing up my Mom-uniform with some accessories. I still want to be comfy, so jeans and a t-shirt it will be–but perhaps with a bit of pizazz like a bauble necklace or a fun hat.
These shirts–I’m obsessed. They are linen and insanely soft. And they hand loosely while still giving some shape (i don’t like my shirts to hug).

Frozen just brings me so much joy, I can’t even explain it. Glad to see I’m not the only parent who may enjoy the movie more than my kiddos.
This will be the best thing you watch today, trust me.
This pretty girl–if you can believe it, her heart is even prettier!
And her blog, well it’s just pure awesome.
Hands down, my favorite go-to blog for all things mama style and kid’s fashion.
Check her out.
Anthropologie is probably the store I get the most giddy to stroll through when I get the chance to go to the mall. Touching all the soft fabrics, smelling the nostalgic Volcano candles and scouring the sale section for that perfect deal. And while I rarely take home anything that isn’t from the sale section, it doesn’t stop me from making my wish list. Here are the Antrho goodies that I’m coveting from the Spring 2014 collection (you’ll note there’s a jacket phase I’m going through):
This jacket is vegan, which is pretty rad. And it seems like the perfect, timeless coat. I’m obsessed. Also, it has a ruffle in the back! Shop here, it’s almost sold out.
I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect little black coat. Loving this one, especially the collar. Pretty please, share links to your perfect leather coat finds–I’m ready to commit to one. Shop here. Chambray AND a jacket. I can think of nothing more glorious. I tried it on in the store, and it’s just as fabulous as I knew it would be. Shop here. The only thing stopping me from buying these cargos is the fear that I might be compelled to wear them every day of my life–they are soooooo soft. Shop here. On a whim I decided to try these floral pants on and I was so surprised by how much I loved them. Its the only time this style of pants has not made me look 10 pounds heavier. They are a super flattering cut and they make it to the top of my Spring wardrobe wish list. Shop here. Classic, cotton tunic with LACE–enough said. My girlfriend tried it on and it fit fabulously! Shop here. I’m drawn to this tunic. The universe wants me to own it. And because I’m a shorty I know I can count on it being longer than it is on the model. Shop here. These boots. The perfect way to wear booties in the Spring. The color, the holes, the slit–just perfect. Shop here. I’m a fan of a good ol’ rancher hat. Love that this classic brown one is such a reasonable price. The perfect everyday hat. Shop here. Another reasonably priced accessory–these glasses add some vintage flair to a wardrobe. Shop here.
There’s something extra special about opening up a handmade gift for a little one–they’re always my favorite. Here are a handful of the handmade goodies I’ve been admiring for a while. You’ll want to visit these shops–they are incredible and jam packed with so many more fabulous items.
A collection of goodies for little misters.

My absolute favorite everyday hat. Billabong makes a great trucker hat for women because it isn’t too bulky but still has that tom boy look and feel. Found here.
Also from Aerie, here. I loved this cover up as well because the front pieces were long enough to tie in a knot and because the piece is versatile enough to mix with my everyday wardrobe long after vacation ends.
